Like Spun Silk Thread- Tough but Sticky
I bought the 5# line to use for walleyes and jumbo perch on The Mississippi River since the ultra-fine diameter is useful for cutting the current. I put the entire spool on a small spinning reel and noticed one problem right away. It is impossible to cut with nail clippers and if you use scissors, they better be able to cut fine thread. I even tried using a pair that I have for tying jigs and it was tough with them. I have to use a knife to cut the line. The second thing, and this one is for all of us who work with our hands, if you have calluses or nicks and cuts or rough spots on your fingers, this stuff will stick to your fingers like a spider web and fray very easily whenever you try to tie a knot.For that reason alone, I won't buy any more. When I'm fishing, I like to be able to change lures and tie knots in a very short period of time. I don't need my line getting stuck and fraying on my working mans hands. Trust me, it's a real pain to handle. That said, I'll stick with mono and fluorocarbon.

I'm sick of using plastic bags that live forever. Think about the planet and our children and use bio-degradable bags.

Perfect Fit for an UKO Candlelier
I originally bought these to put on top of a denatured alcohol burner that I had but found a better use for them. They fit perfectly on the top of an UKO Candlelier and make them an amazing heat source. I used UKOs to heat my tent and keep condensation at bay. If I top them with these covers I can camp in very cold weather with no problem. The UKOs will burn for 10-12 hours which makes them great for keeping the tent warm from evening til morning. You can use these covers and heat small rooms in a trailer or in your camper. They fit like they were made to fit the top of a Candlelier. What a great product to use for emergency heat.
