Wireless dump trailer system
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I purchased this to replace an inexpensive wireless remote that stopped working. Prior to that I had the corded button remote. I ran over and lost two of those. This happened while I would move my truck while dumping. Since I was considering spending more than the prior wireless system. I did research and read reviews prior. One of the things that I wanted was to be able dump the trailer contents from the cab of my truck. Some may know that standing next to the trailer to operate the dump button can be annoying. This is the case for me since there are no dump sites but, transfer stations. These operate by dumping your load on a site then loaded on trailer trucks and driven several miles away to a dump. I wanted to be able to operate the trailer from my truck, drive off and then while driving bring the trailer bed down. Then pin the gates closed, away from the other vehicles and earth movers. One of the reviews stated that he wasn’t able to do this. In spite of this review I purchased this wireless remote. Installation was easy since I had already had wires in place from the prior remote. This comes with an antenna and I purchased a metal rod about the thickness of a pencil 3’ long. My thought was was to weld the rod to the trailer and install the antenna at the top of it. I had a load I needed to dump so I fastened it low on the trailer. I figured that I would need stay within range to make my first dump. However I was able to dump the load from the cab of my truck. I can only think that the other reviewer may have needed a new battery in the remote. I am very pleased with this unit and the ability of operating it from the cab of my truck. I originally looked at this system when I searched wireless dump remotes. At that point I opted for the less expensive remote that ended up working less than a year. For me the convenience and safety that I get, it’s worth the price of this system.

Fastedge Peel & stick
I’ve purchased maybe 6 rolls of this through eBay. Color matches the finished birch I purchase locally. Love this stuff to finish the edge of cabinet grade plywood. Easy to trim, occasionally the beginning of the tape may come peel up. A little bonding glue takes care of this.
