Not just good-Good enough!
Main 3 things- intonation, playability, value.
The intonation is not perfect but it's way better than my buddy's squier strat was. I've bought guitars on ebay for the steal and style points before and been disappointed that the strings were out of tune when fretted but in tune open or vice versa. Not so here. This thing is in tune across the fretboard. And plus if yours isn't you can take advantage of the improved bridge and fine tune each string individually. The tuners are the unsung heroes too as they look vintage but actually function and hold a tune.
As for the action- it's no les paul but that's ok because you're not buying a les paul. It feels like you're playing a rhythm guitar so giving the round neck a firm squeeze is just like digging your teeth into a strum. I've had it 3 days and can't put it down.
Along with playability comes mention of the pickups- not only do they have a great single-coil twang, they have very distinct voicings between the different pickup switch positions and i like all of them for different reasons.
I also get great harmonics on this guitar. The body is solid unlike the originals which were hollow, and the neck is a 4 bolt instead of 3.
Last but not least- value.
I'm noticing as of the 3rd day that my frets are beginning to discolor and tarnish. Could be living by the ocean or finger oils. Either way the fret metal isn't top-notch. Also i'm noticing subtle amounts of fret buzz but alot of that is me just getting used to the shorter scale. It's not a deal breaker and with single-coil pickups a little metallic twang doesn't stand out terribly.
Ultimately its a total winner. I took a chance and am so glad I did.
If stolen or destroyed I would immediately scoop another one of these guitars up. If you're buying a guitar for the name, obviously you'll look elsewhere. If you're buying it because its vintage, it may have issues and it will cost vintage. If you're buying it for looks, sound, and value- try jay turser.

Great collection for great price!

Just Wow.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have had many synths, samplers, and drum machines but none like this. It has it all— powerful synth engines, so many built in sounds, effects, and then the variable speed TAPE RECORDER function just completes the package and takes it all to the next level for experimentation and keeping it all from ever getting old. Is it worth the $1000+ that people are paying? Maybe not and you can find other gadgets to level up with. But I got it for ~$800 and between this and my 404 I feel I am set for life. Just yesterday I sampled a sound my son made, spread it across the keys and multi-tracked a beat with it in minutes, all without a computer. There is still so much I have to learn with it and I don’t expect to ever find something I can’t feasibly accomplish with it.
