Open Your Eyes Before "Stargazing with a Telescope"
Excellent general knowledge about telescopes and telescope technologies. The book provides information on the differences in telescope types and sets proper expectations for those just getting started in the hoppy. It provides enough depth to show the potential uses for telescopes outside of general star gazing. I would consider this as required reading for anyone looking to get started into astronomy. The small cost of the book can save you money while assuring you purchass exactly the type of scope to meet your specific needs.
