Heavy duty wire, great price!

These are made with heavy gauge wire measuring an average of 3.76mm in diameter, which would be probably 10 gauge wire plus the plastic coating. Since the plastic can't be a perfectly even coat there were some tiny differences between measurements of different pieces. Regardless, these are nice heavy duty supports for your peonies or other bushy plants. These are also the best prices I've seen anywhere, and I did some extensive searching.

Well worth the money!

This is a must-have book for any student of jewelry design and execution. I love the writer's style: straightforward and clear. There are loads of illustrations, which, as a visual learner, helped me a lot.

Get Two!

I bought 2 of these and they handle most of the "third (and fourth!) hand" issues that come up when making jewelry. A couple of flat ended tweezers to insert in the clamps and you're all set! You can these things into just about any configuration because of the multiple joints. Because I have a steel sheet on my bench these can be placed anywhere and the magnets engaged, so there's no movement of the base. Better than the ordinary single-jointed, non-magnetic third hand I started with.
