A luxury volume for those who appreciate Persian art
This is a beautiful volume with great text and illustrations. It was artfully designed and printed, truly a luxury item. When it was new 20 years ago the publisher's list price was $95, so the total cost to me of about $30 was good value given its excellent condition. The level of care and scholarship was evident on every page, and the translation from the original Italian was expertly done. The item arrived promptly and was in good condition. My only problem was finding a place to shelve the volume; at 13inches high (33cm) it was too tall to fit in a standard bookcase but as I have a shelf reserved for oversized books I managed to fit it in.
