"Phantastic" Close to the Series
One of my favorite RPGs. I love the "cutscenes", which were quite well-done and numerous for a cartridge game of the time. The combat is quite nice, being fast paced, having numerous spell combos, plenty of backgrounds & foes. There is a large cast of characters & many are quite likable. The story, graphics, music & sound are excellent. The Phantasy Star series mixes elements of medieval & futuristic settings & there are several vehicles to use as well. Highly recommended for fans of "old-school" RPGs.
