Works better than specified , minor complaints
This is a excellent combo product that works very well with long cables! Some minor downsides is that some of the ports are on the ends of the product. Also ,it uses EDID to transmit maximum resolution,but if you have a display that will not work with the same resolutions it may need replaced to operate. I have also used J-Tech Digital's 8 way HDMI splitter with the same great results .

Worth every penny!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have used various hoods, but were on the low budget side on things. However, upon reading many favorable reviews on this product, I decided to make the leap and try it. Man, what a difference! I can see more in-depth , which makes for much better welds. No more intuitive welding .There are several settings and adjustments to cater to your preferences. It also has a grind function that allows you to suspend the auto darkening . I already have it sold to two others that I know and I'm sure more would like to try ..and probably buy !! Great Hood !!

A solid mount, needing some minor improvements
This is a decent universal mount . However, I would prefer to see more hardware that secures the plate to the ceiling grid work. Furthermore, it might useful to have star washers on the hook bracket to help prevent movement . With the hex key bolts tightened, you can still move the projector with some ease. For securing the plate to the gridwork, I used Tek screws drilled through the grid piece into the vertical edge of the plate. Be sure that the gridwork itself is securely wired and fastened, to ensure it supports the weight properly. Attaching the projector was easy with no problems. The offset mounting holes is great for getting the projector on-center with the screen, which what I had to utilize for this particular installation. I would use this mount again in the future.
