OK with reservations.
There is no evidence, such as a label or other branding, that this is a genuine product from Bulldog the toolmaker based in Wigan since 1780 as implied by the description.
The handle tapers from a maximum diameter of 4cm at the blade end to a minimum 3cm at the opposite 'top' end. As a long handle is subject to much greater forces - principle of moments - I am uncertain if it will be strong enough in the long run. Only time will tell.
Although I answered 'yes' to questions about good value, good quality and whether I would recommend it, I would have marked all as 'unsure' if that option had been available.

Ink not as permanent as I had hoped.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The main reason for purchasing these pens was for writing labels for plants. I am disappointed because the ink has faded and is barely readable after 4 weeks. I would say that in all other respects they are excellent. The pen is writes comfortably; the ink flows well and seems quiet stable if not exposed to sunlight. I will be able to use them for other purposes, so they will not be wasted. The rating I have given reflects the fact that they do not match my particular requirement otherwise I would probably give it 5 stars.
