manufactured to fail
The device is made of plastic and is made to fail after a short time in use. The bushings are rubber and shouold be metal or a better material. the price is very high considering it a piece of plastic.
If they were to sell a set of additional bushings it would make it last much longer or make the bushing for sale. I over haul these devices and I make bushing and install them.
