The Oficer's Belt
The real Soviet Oficers belt strap was not riveted to the belt. Two additional hoops had brass loops the strap was buckled to. One in the front and one in the back. Hoops were sliding on the belt. It was done for adjustability to the height and waist of the serviceman wearing it. The strap could be taken off ,when not needed. Also, the brass buckle wire loop is too tall. It should be twice as short. The holster itself is very good.
