Does what it says on the box
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Great product if used properly. Don't expect it to be DIY dentistry and it will hold you over for a few days if you can't get to a dentist straight away.
Works well on - small cavities or holes from existing fillings that have fallen out and got lost.
Not recommended for - broken teeth or large areas that you can't pack the material into (e.g. lost crowns).

Good space-saving feeder for the coop
I got these for our backyard flock, since the feeder and waterer we got when the girls were still pullets, was now taking up a lot of space in the coop's yard. Along with that, we were finding it a real hassle keeping things clean, since the chooks liked to scratch around thm, and one even started perching and pooping on the old feeder. So a wall/fence mounted solution was very attractive to me. After weighing up the option of making my own, or just buying one, I figured out that between my ability to procrastinate and buying all the parts, it really wasn't that much cheaper than buying a ready made solution.
When the feeders arrived, I was impressed by their sturdy construction. The pipe is heavy duty. The were also ready to hang, with built in hooks that slot over the wire of the coop fence. On top of that, they come with brackets if you want to mount them on a wall or post. After removing the old feeder our girls were all using the new feeders within a day of installing them. We have a couple of bantams in our flock, so finding a height that worked for them and the other chooks was a bit of trial and error. Even though I bought 2 feeders for this very reason, they all wanted to eat out of the one feeder .
I noticed in feedback other people have left are saying their chooks won't use the new feeders, preferring to go to other feeders I presume are still in the chickens area. Chickens are very much creatures of habit, so if you are going to get these feeders to replace existing ones, you'll need to remove all your old feeders so they don't have a choice but to use the new one. Within a day, they'll have figured it out, and all it takes is just one chook to use it for the others to follow.
So here we are a few months after getting the new feeders, and the coop is working well. The chooks use both feeders and I don't have any issues with them dirtying up their feed. With the time and money saved by not having to clean out feeders and feed lost to contamination or the chooks scattering it on the ground, I'm more than happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to others as well.
