excellent
These are used slings but they are in great condition. I just put a new one on another rifle and it was a bear to get the stud in. This one is just loose enough that it slipped in much easier. The leather is supple with no cracks.
I am VERY happy with the sling it looks virtually new but supple at the same time.

great lens
I purchased this lens in 1997 and immediately put in on my Nikon F3 with its motor drive. I put my F3 on its tripod and started shooting shots of my daughter Kathryn. Of course I had to wait for the photo's to get back! lol
The shots were unbelieveable! Tight, crisp and great flesh tones even with Kodak Gold 100 consumer film. Well to say the least it really rocked with Pro portrait film.
I have used it for some wildlife photography with very good results, or just shots of our dogs.
It is a great lens with VERY heavy optics. So a tripod, backpack or such to cradle it on.
I love the results I get on my Nikon F, F2 and F3. I think you'll like it too. Get back to the basics and be a PHOTOGRAPHER AND ARTIST, not just a snap and shoot type and no ability to chimp!
You learn to trust your knowledge and besides scanning negatives gives you 35 megapixels!!!
Great lens with great color rendition. I have read many reviews on this lens and one thing I have learned, each lens gives different results on different camera's. For instance my Nikon 180mm EDIF was great on my manual camera's but the results on my D1x were junk...go figure.
The Nikon 50-300 is prone to flaring at 300mm if the sunlight or any light is hitting its front lens so shade it from th light. I worked best for me on sunny days in the shade.
