Not the old Warhammer
If you are old school Fantasy, in the Warhammer world, then this is noway near that. The General's Handbook/compendiums of the past were full of lore and enjoyable to read. This just doesn't reach the mark. All the debate on the AOS vs. the Old World can be seen elsewhere on the web. Still if you are really into AOS and what seems to be its simpler system, or if you want to use old armies (which may need rebasing) in the new system, then this is a must. At least I can see how I can take on new opponents who have been attracted to AOS-based fantasy.
