It's a very handsome book with a sturdy hard cover and the right size, not too big or too small, easy to handle.
I do not remember hearing about Ernst Haeckel. I'm almost sure that I had seen his artwork here and there but never a book dedicated to his artwork and life. I really like his artwork and the reproductions in the book very good. The book offers a lot of information on Haeckel and his times.

A very good book about Artist Edward Ardizzone.
Well made book, good sturdy biding as well as good layout and design. Excellent reproduction of the artist artwork and a lot of information about the book's subject; Edward Ardizzone.

Poor quality.
bad to try to put it together. Do not follow the illustrated instructions because they are wrong. You can figure out it better by yourself. Don't buy it. Terrible product for a high price.
