Best cost effectiveness for Socket S1g1
I have an Acer Aspire 5532 and it was with an Athlon TL-36 20 GHz Single Core.
I could play games with it, but it was so slow for everything else.
Then I was searching compatbile CPUs to upgrade, and by checking the benchmarks, this one is superior to TL-66.
The only one better than this is the TL-68, but it's very expensive to waste on an old laptop.
So I installed this one, and no problems, Everything worked fine, and now it doesn't lag unless you're doing some very CPU or HDD intense task.
I am very happy with it. It doesn't overheat because with the TL-36 the CPU was always at 100%. Now with this one, the CPU is around 8-20% and it only starts to become hot when you are playing. But he reaches the same level as before, so no apparent downside.
11/10 I STRONGLY RECOMMEND, 0 regrets
