Inexpensive and wicks well
Inexpensive and wicks well. Gets my apartment from 15 -- 30% very easily -- only needs to run for about 5min every 45min, and I'm sure it bring the humidity even higher if needed.

Not recommended - poor performance and more expensive in the long run
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I will not be buying these again. I'm diligent and wash these (alternating between vinegar and bleach) once a week. This filter lasted about 5 washings before it lost its wicking ability, resulting in non-stop humidifier operation and only a modest gain in humidity. For the cost, I expected a longer lifetime. I've since reverted back to paper-based filters, which on a cost-per-season-operation is 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of using this synthetic filter.
