My "old reliable"...no matter what I try I always come back to it

Something to add to your canine toolbox
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I take all of my dogs to obedience classes. They get out and are socialized on a regular basis. When behavior issues arise I use this product as my last resort. I don't believe it should be first on the list of training tools. It should be used sparingly. I start with the lowest setting of the sound inhibitor and work upwards until I get the response that is acceptable. I work with the vibrate mode the same way-start at 1 and work up- slowly. If I use the shock mode I definitely try it on myself at the chosen level before putting it on my dog. There are trainers out there that can teach you how to use this device properly which to me means on a very limited basis. It's a good tool in the proper hands.
