Great first use
I am blown away by this flashlight. It zoomed in easily and lit up a street sign 200 meters away.

Its freedom from having to connect to an expensive PC far outweighs the slight difference in video quality.

The video quality is close enough to systems that require connections cabled to expensive PCs that there is no need to look for anything better. Not yet, anyways. Do be careful of vertigo. A few minutes at a time is about all I was able to stand at first, but it is getting easier.
