Old but powerfull
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The phenom ii x6 1075t is surely an old CPU. Released around 2011 is already 5 years old, an eternity in computer hardware. But being so old is just showing how great this processor is. 6 cores, 3GHz, 3.5GHz Turbo frequency, based on k10 architecture and still handles everything great. Surely it's not so fast for AES encryption and such as it lacks the specific instruction extensions but delivers in multicore aware programs such as encoding, rendering and of course it's excellent for games (especially with the advent of DirectX 12 and Vulkan). Don't get me wrong. It's not a top performer. But it's an excellent upgrade for AM3 motherboards that are stuck with dual,tri or quad cores and don't support the newer FX CPUs. With an inexpensive aftermarket cooler it's kept cool and has a moderate power consumption.
