Plastic pot and only half full.
I haven't had to buy this for some years and my immediate reaction was that the amount was less, the pot was only half full (either fill it up to make 200 gms, or reduce the amount of plastic!) and the sponge felt thin - it used to be less squidgy.. The product worked (I like it for items which you can't dip or easily polish with a cloth and for very tarnished items so I have no problems there. I don't ever remember having to wear gloves to use it but maybe it is more toxic these days! The sponge could be housed in the lid to make room for more content. It used to come in a metal tin which is better for recycling. I try not to buy goods in plastic.
