Great Collection!
Package arrived in great shape and exactly as described (I got ahead if myself and opened it already before I took pictures but rest assured it was 100% in its original packaging). The set itself honestly rules. Personally as someone who’s really fascinated by behind the scenes stuff and getting some insight on how something I like was made and details on the world and characters, the stuff in this edition is great.
My only gripe is that the second dvd is a little sparse in content, as it only comes with a featurette (that was neat too don’t get me wrong but that’s literally it). While I’m sure a lot of this stuff is readily available online, it’s really special to be able to hold that stuff in my hand, you know? Well, this set appeals to me as I’m the type that prefers physical copies over digital anyways.
Would definitely recommend to fans of the franchise who really like having all sorts of extra content like this, especially if you prefer physical copies over digital. Otherwise, if you’re not that into Patlabor or new to the series, it’d probably be best to go for the bluray since it’s admittedly much cheaper, easier to come by, and likely higher quality in comparison to this.
