The "Good War" that was'nt...
The "Good War",as W.W.II is sometimes called-was'nt so good.
Anyone remotely familiar with the closing days of 1945 is familiar with the orgy of rape and murder that was too often characteristic of the Soviets against the population of Germany,including German allies.
One is startled to learn that American and other Allied forces were also guilty of many crimes against the Germans-particularly German females of all ages....
The Germans are,at last,beginning to speak up,after several generations of silence...

Thia is a very valuable book to the researcher.
This book is an excellent account of specific Hessian units in the American Revolution in both the northern and southern campaigns.
It is extremely valuable as to specific unit locations geographically during active movements from Long Island,the Jerseys,Charleston,and Virginia.
