needs small adjustment
This part is a very good part and well made except for one small but important detail. The one I received has a smaller than needed brass connector on spring end. When you try to install spring end it goes into spring instead of compressing spring. The fix was easy a drop of solder holds spring in place.

switch cures charging issue
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich my 40hp mercury was not keeping battery charged. I tried different type of switch and still no charge. I purchased this one and it works now. The fit was exact and having the color coded wires made it a snap to install.

214 ignition switch
The switch fit right plug hooked up right function was great. my problem was battery was not being charged the switch fixed that. This is a good place to start when not charging is a problem.
