old fashion advice
I great book containing "common sense" farm animal care, which is becoming a lost art. It includes many stories and examples of the writers experience which are both funny and educational. Great barn floor plans and wood building diagrams for building your own gates, feeding racks, and goat diary stanchions. Also includes barn/stall size recommendations for different animal types. If you are looking for information on chickens or farm fowl, you will need to get another book. The writer does not recommend keeping fowl with mammals and has many a few funny stories to tell regarding the consequences.
