Perfect replacement for the Realistic STA-2100, 2100D, and 2300 receivers.
I got this hoping it would work on my Realistic STA-2100, and it is a perfect match! (The STA-2100D also uses the same switch.) There is a small circuit board with the power switch red/green LED that needs to be transferred, but that's a five-minute job if you have a desoldering tool.
At first glance, it appears that replacing the power switch on an STA-2100 would be a major job, but with the bottom cover removed, and the headphone jack out of the way, it takes about a minute to remove the switch, and maybe two or three to align install the new one.
It's also a good idea to replace the 0.1uf, 125v capacitor, to protect the contacts.
Only one side of the main switch is normally used, but I bridged it with the opposite side to lessen the load on the contacts, so it should last longer. (The original lasted nearly 40 years, so this one should be working long after I'm gone!)
The receiver works like new now. I'm going to purchase several more of these switches, just in case they become obsolete. Well worth it!!

A Good Replacement
I purchased this for my 1993 Taurus SHO because the original buttons were broken. It works perfectly.

Perfect!
I just finished resurrecting a Realistic SCT-30 cassette deck, and - among other things - the VU meter bulbs were both bad. These new bulbs are very slightly longer that the originals, but still fit perfectly, and illuminate the meters just like the originals.
