Astounding, with a few minor drawbacks
I managed to "steal" this about a year ago through a Sprint deal for $99. I can honestly say, that in nearly 40 years of audio purchases this was one of the best investments I have made. I would have gladly spent $200 or more after the fact. The sound is astonishing. I have friends with the $400 Bose Soundlink and I'll put this up against it anytime. I am a "bass" guy and this DELIVERS! To the point I am asked to turn it down regularly by my wife. Knocks? Inexplicably, there is no auxiliary input! Must have just been an oversight by the HK design team, and perhaps one of the reasons you can find this so cheap. So, it is BLUETOOTH or BUST with this little guy. The other bizarre quirk is that when you have it plugged in while listening, and then want to unplug it to move it, it powers down thereby disconnecting from your device! Why?? Minor inconvenience of having to power it up, reconnect, and restart the song you were listening to. BUT, overall, I can live with its little quirks for the amazing sound that comes from this clean, light, portable, and efficient speaker. 9/10. Find this for under $200 and you won't be disappointed!

Good, but think about the obvious
This worked as described, and sure beats hanging lights on the house! But, I didn't really think about the obvious when I ordered it in that we have a large tree directly in front of our house, so in order to use it, I have to move it behind our driveway to the right side of our house. Fine, except we can't park our cars in the driveway and use the Laser. Otherwise, I like it. Get two if you have even a somewhat large surface to cover. 20' X 20' is about the max. I expect when you see "covers 3000 square feet" it is probably referring to the average home living footage that one would work for. I am going to order another next year and play with shining on our tree and the side of the house we can't quite reach with one.
