Good kit if you use a regular crochet hook
The concept of this gift is a great one for crafty kids. My daughter was overjoyed to receive this kit. However, as other reviewers had mentioned, the “wand” crochet hook is worthless. My daughter is happy to display the hook next to her creations, but use a regular hook to make them. This kit IS worth it for the book and starter yarn alone.
