Be careful with the upgrade
I put in a remanufactured motor from a Ford dealership my shop and some of the guys help me put it in. I ordered a lot of my part to have a time some of them being Fuel injectors. I got caught up in the upgraded ones that are supposed to be OK and you’re supposed to be able to run them in your truck they did not work in my truck. But finding these stock ones that came in the truck to begin with and having them work for the amazing value they were I wished I did never tried to do the upgraded ones at all. And I know the upgraded ones didn’t work these are‘s scan tool say the shop which happens to be a very high dollar one from a very reputable tool truck was telling me that oxygen sensors are bad even though they’re all brand new every sensor that went into that motor with brand new all the accessories that went on that motor brand new the only thing is I transferred from the old block to the new block was the dipstick tube and the transmission tube. After looking at our scan tool with our mechanic that does most of the Ranch turning for our shop. Definitely the one that’s more skilled at using our scan tool then I am we were watching the long term fuel trim in the long term fuel trim kit going to a -22 to the -23 that’s as far as the computer would allow the truck to Lean the fuel out. As soon as you would hit the gas in the truck the leaning of the fuel mixture wood will say go up it would go to with -9 -8 in the truck would want fine but at a dead stop the truck would not run because it was getting too much fuel and I was so happy that these guys have the injectors I needed because otherwise I was going to spend another 400 bucks and buy a brand new injectors when there’s no need to. I am very thankful for finding these injectors.
