Easy Setup, Reliable Performance
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I set this up about a month ago and it's worked great ever since. I needed to get a USB modem because newer computers don't have the zillion expansion slots they used to have, and I needed the only available slot for a TV card.
Setup was very easy. You just make the physical connections, load the easy-to-install software, and you're set. I had to run again through all of my dial-up settings based on my ISP's instructions to get optimal performance. (Use the Connections tab on Tools - Internet Options in Internet Explorer to save some time hunting around for settings controls.)
I get strong, reliable connections that are as fast as they have ever been with this ISP. And it is not an obsolete item. The USR website provides plenty of support for it.
I have no complaints about this modem and would recommend it to anyone.
