After 4 calls to Canon technical dept, we are having connectivity, software, and hardware problems continuously.
I am personally fairly computer savvy, however I have never experienced such problems with any other printer/scanners as I have with this. The software/drivers available online and on the supplied CD, can not be installed on my pc as it says I don’t have administrator rights although we are using an administrator account. Canon technical help used a different method to install the software and drivers, however since, although the printer is on the network, the computer can not find the printer on the network. Then after 6-7minutes of trying a print, finally a print is done. I have other printers on my network miles away from my router, and the computer connects with the printer within seconds. I am fed up of this machine, it’s caused so much aggravation within my family home, and even arguments. Please please please don’t buy this product. Let’s see if the company is willing to take back the machine on this basis and offer me a viable solution
