Great electrical savings, and attractive, too.
My two 10 bulb chandeliers used to use SIX HUNDRED watts each. With these far more efficient bulbs, they use only 70 watts for each chandelier.
One note.
When they are first lit, they will be slightly dimmer, but quickly brighten.
Some might not like that, but it is not as glaring, when you first enter the room..

E-Z Peezy application!!!
First, sand the edge of your work piece smooth for good adhesion. If using veneered plywood, any open gaps can be filled with wood filler prior to sanding.
With a simple clothes iron, this veneer was incredibly easy to apply! Using a dry iron, set it for cotton, and allow it to warm for a few minutes, (I used a parchment ironing shield to help protect the wood from marring), You'll want to cut your strip of veneer slightly longer than what is needed, and leave a bit of overhang at either end. I placed my pre-measured & cut strip on one end, centering it, & simply held the iron on it for between 10 -20 seconds.
Then I moved the iron a little further down the strip, and ironed between the secured part and where I was holding it centered, repeating until I was at the other end.
The entire process for a 23 inch shelf, took only a couple of minutes.
One other tip. While the piece was still fairly hot, I used a smooth wood block, and with only moderate pressure, ran it back and forth, lengthwise, to make sure the backing glue was fully in contact with the shelf face. When completely cooled, I carefully trimmed the ends shorter with a scissors, and sanded the excess away lightly, with 220 sandpaper, all the way around. The result was very pleasing, and looked professional!
And I had NO prior experience doing this!

Assembly in winter.
Well, here in the midwest, it's been about 10 degrees F for days. So I assembled my Christmas Agri Fab 45-0288 Drop Spreader in my living room!! Stood upright, you, or better, you and a friend, can easily carry it out the door.
It arrived quickly, mostly assembled, & was packed well. You really only need a small socket set & a couple of wrenches.
The instructions were another matter. Printed in some 20 languages, be prepared to rely on the (rather small) pictures as your guide. I had to use a magnifying glass. There are only a few very brief paragraghs in any language in the whole manual. But lettered arrows point to where each part goes, section by section. The letters refer to actual size represenations of each part. It does take a bit of intuition in spots. One point to note, is you may need to adjust the ferrules attached to the spreaders drop cover. It opens & closes according to the size, & amount of material you wish to spread. It's quite easy to adjust.
Assembled it looks as good as the photo's. Thick walled & sturdy It should last me for years, if I simply clean and oil it after each use.
