Achtung Baby
As an old fuddy-duddy I liked the original U2 works better, but I believe I will like it better when I get used to it.

Working well again
We hadn't realized how weak the old magnetron had gotten until after we replaced it. It was an exact replacement number for the original 10 year-old microwave oven.
That said, it was apparently carelessly stored or handled, and I was fortunate to see the small silver screw lodged inside the silver housing around the magnet as I checked it before installation. It was not sealed packaging so perhaps it picked it up after leaving the factory.
