Upgrade worth it!

I had bought the earlier version, but the VC (Vibration Compensation) vibrated on the earlier one, making it unusable. This one: No problem! (Side note: I had a Tamron-TC-X20-2x-Tele-Converter I tried with it, but the ghosting ruined the magnification.)

The megapix worth it.

I have a Nikon P900 that has an astounding optical zoom that I was hoping to beat with a Tamron 150-600 zoom and this camera. Okay: a lot pricier, but now I can get those surfer's faces out there!
