Fine household corn bristle broom
Thick handle and non-glossy finish made for a far firmer grip than average brooms.

Before they were rotten...
You may not care for what Starship eventually became, but this album is well worth a listen. Jack Casady is great (as usual), there are some notable "guest stars" and the songs' style is varied by consistently good, much like the original Airplane.
Also, it's a true time capsule piece. The booklet, in retrospect, is a hoot, with all this spaced-out malarkey about hijacking a starship and forming a new world of young bright-eyed doers. Most of the lyrics reiterate this theme.
Oh, and as for that starship, according to one song, "they" (as in the government) were going to start building it in 1980 and it would be all ready for flight by 1990! LOL

Criminally overlooked
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich One of the very best first solo albums by a musician upon leaving a prominent band. Songwriting, singing and especially bass-playing show Jack in top form. And if you were in a garage band in the early Seventies, you probably covered "Theme From An Imaginary Western." LOL
Why this album never got the attention it deserves, we'll never know. Especially puzzling because Jack was coming off a run with one of the top rock bands of the era and the album was on a major label. Can only postulate that people were expecting more "Creamish" material and thus paid the album little mind after hearing a track or two. Don't make the same mistake!
