Doubled up
I wanted a more thick wheel on 1965 Chevrolet so wrapped two. The closure diameter overlapped nearly perfect and the larger circumference in my opinion a more comfortable size grip area. As long as you warm these up they are plenty elastic enough to manipulate.

Directional/Not everywhere
Not dimmable if this matters to you. Did they brighten up the 1965 Caprice gauges, clock, shift indicator, heater controls, and speedo? Yes. Do know the original 1895 or slightly brighter 293 if far more yellow so if you are restoring to factory your illumination will be different. Have not yet tried in radio. Far too focused and bright for winkers (blinding) and in my opinion the BRIGHT and parking brake as well. Stock 1895 or the 293 sufficient. Now the kicker, the glove box. The polarity in the glove is reversed so you'd have to desolder, reverse poles to make work, and they will. However, these are NOT a diffuse bulb so in a cavity as is a glove, you'll get a bright spot and poor dispersion. Stick to a 293 or brighter bulb (I forgot the number) which is an elongated glass rather than the 1895 round glass. These are inexpensive to try to see if you like and if they are perfect at least you learned a lot for not a lot of money.

Provides vaious positions
Does what is expected. One of two I ordered had somewhat fouled threads which required surgical caution to save, but I did save. Had all been perfect would have awarded a 5-star.
