a bit of hassle but worked
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have a 2007 RX400h, the old remote key box was broken - not able to hold the battery in place. However the electronic component inside (the important piece) is still working fine. I bought these just to swap out the plastic box/buttons. At first all buttons seemed to be working, and later I went to use the car and IT WOULDN'T START! Very strange, scratched my head and wondering why! So I ended up putting the three old buttons (Pwr Door, Lock, Panic) back instead of using the new ones -> WALLAH everything worked as expected! Still scratching my head ... figured those are just plastic buttons ... but hey it's working fine now :). My guess is probably the old buttons has some kind of connections for the car to start. Almost threw away the old case, luckily I didn't. So make sure you do a complete test after swapping it out. Everything fits perfectly though.
