Good value

Module fixed the dead truck. Just remember that you have to go through the initialization process before it will work. A good value.

Not a real "Cookbook"

This isn't a cookbook in the tradition of electronics-related cookbooks that have been published in the past. It doesn't contain any examples of component uses in real world circuits that you could build and make into a usable product. It is only a collection of pared-down spec sheets, containing a pin-out diagram and a few of the predominant specs. The book could be used as a reference to quickly find an IC that could be used to perform a specific function, saving a lot of time searching manufacturers' web sites for a usable component. In most cases, you will still have to go to the manufacturers' web sites for the full datasheet in order to find complete specs and circuit usage suggestions. It fails to offer much useful information to a novice who is trying to build useful projects and learn about electronics. I rate this book a 4 out of 10 as a real "cookbook" in the traditional sense.
