Compatibility issue with "factory" Manfrotto 200PL plate
The original Manfrotto plates are slightly larger than this adapter will accommodate. The original plates can only be attached using excessive force. There is either a quality control or a design issue but do not know which.
If you are using this set by itself, it works fine. Reasonably well built and a great price. The compatibility with original Manfrotto plates was the deal breaker for me.

A true Manfrotto, quality part.
I tried a different brand (much cheaper) but could not use my Manfrotto plates with that adapter. This is an actual Manfrotto brand adapter and plate, not a knockoff. Quality is great as expected. Was worth the extra wait time to return the other and order this.
