Almost perfect
The bag for the price is good quality, arrived quickly from China and fits the weebill s really nicely. I would prefer a dictated space for other items such as the official mobile phone holder, but it can be fit inside. It's certainly good to have!

Great lens but not L quality
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I just bought this lens and started getting to grips with it. There is Canon quality to the images it produces. The lens is plastic and metal and seems to sit within the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 and 1.4 in terms of construction. One big downside is the lack of a fixed lens cover, it's a slide on metal type that can easily come off or hit the lens if care is not given to putting it back on again.
The lens is small and light (almost exactly like the 50mm. The lens doesn't move or extend when focusing and takes rear filters rather than front ones.
It provides an almost 180 field of view (on the diagonal) which takes getting used to and has a lot of distortion which is part of the attraction. A 20cm minimum focusing distance and f2.8 aperture make it more versatile than the more modern and expensive zoom fisheye Canon offers which is f4. Image quality is good and sharp with not too much fall off or blur except right in the corners. There is some chromatic fringing in prior and green in the edges with high contrast shots but can be easily fixed and only an issue when viewed up close.
The item I bought has a broken AF drive which I assume is because this lens can be fragile if knocked but there are plenty of webpages showing how to pull apart Canon lenses these days. Not to mention that a fisheye has such depth of field that AF isn't necessary. The other thing about fisheye lenses is that you need to take a lot of time setting up the shot to get the view right. If anything is not straight or off center it becomes very obvious when viewing the photo later and the difference in distortion isn't easy to fix, so a tripod and patience is vital to get the most out of this great lens.

Olden but golden
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This camera is a bit old and low spec compared to even low end canon cameras now but it still has a solid build, Pro style and 16 MP is not that different to the canon 6D's 21 in actuality.
It has solid metering and focusing and a good viewfinder. Downsides are outdated menu system, relatively small buffer, no ultrasonic sensor cleaning and quite a small rear screen. It's also incapable of video or live view. If you have the cash but still want a cheap Pro camera, get the 1ds mark iii. If you want a robust camera that looks a lot better than an amateurs one for the same price or need a second body, get one!
