A fun car!
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich I bought this car for occasional autocross and a short commute. I love it! Fuel economy is great, although the tank is small. The gear change is short and fast, but a little clunky like a 6 speed Ferrari with a metal gate. It is quick when driven normally, but not as torquey as a porsche at low and mid revs. Once you get above 6300 revs it is like a switch is thrown - the exhaust note suddenly changes and the car just takes off. The handling and road holding is superb. I have the sports suspension which may be a little on the firm side with bumpy roads, but fine on smooth roads, and great on the track. It comes with wider front tires and sticky Yokahamas. Entry is not too hard, but exit takes a procedure - sit on the wide sill with head and legs outside, and rock out with the right hand on the handbrake or roof! Worth the effort though. Engine seems bulletproof and I expect Toyota reliability. No problems so far except for the velcro'd head side trim falling off. I have the stage 2 exhaust and even with the hard top it is a little noisy but great fun at all revs. Love the pop when shifting. For a committed driver this is a great choice.
