Lab accuracy, low price, easy to use
Accurate, affordable, intuitive to operate. I love that I can easily measure from 100Hz to100KHz. It will easily indicate effective inductance, capacitance and resistance of any network on either side of resonance. I have recently been using it to characterize the impedance of guitar pickups which self resonate at a few KHz.

The 12mm long springs were too long for ...
The 12mm long springs were too long for my Jeff Beck 2008 Strat. So I ground them down to about 10 mm length on a sanding wheel (watch out for your fingers!). After that the springs worked fine. Sanding them down was no problem. Removed the sharp edges with sandpaper. Putting a little oil on the end of the Tremolo arm improved the feel. Now the arm stays in place nicely, but not too tight. Don't screw the arm in too far or the spring will get squashed and may not recover.
