Solid Pants
High quality workmanship and seem tough enough to go the distance. Note that these run extremely big. My waist is 37.5" but 36" pants fell off and 34" is pretty loose. One star off because the knee pad pocket is way too short for the pads made specifically for these pants. Like, when you take a knee, the whole knee pad is completely below my knee. I had to sew the pocket about three inches shorter to get it to fit.

Does not work
I bought another one of these buttons for much more on Amazon but messed it up using the wrong technique to install. These were just plain impossible to install no matter which way you tried because they were not of the same quality. Not much money wasted but certainly a waste.
