Great budget upgrade for weaker Sandy/Ivy Bridge CPUs
Used this to replace my i5-3330 in my H61 motherboard, which had a base clock of 3.00GHz and boost of 3.20GHz. Solid increase in performance with the extra threads, and far less stuttering when playing games. Almost as good as an i7-3770, with only minor decrease in clock speed, but much more affordable and better value in my opinion. Be aware there are no integrated graphics with this CPU, so you will need a discrete graphics card. Would recommend anyone who has an weaker Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge CPU (such as an i3 or i5) to consider this as an alternative to upgrading to an i7.
