Great sound, good connections, small size
Better audio fidelity than the similarly-priced USB dongles produce: voices sound natural instead of restricted, music sounds far better with a wider frequency spectrum.
Although the unit looks large in the photo, it's really about the size of pack of cards, but just a bit longer.
Bluetooth pairing is simple and quick; and so is re-connecting if you're moving around with Bluetooth speakers or earphones and the signal is dropped.
With inputs and outputs for external audio sources, it's also far more versatile than a USB Dongle which only gets input from the computer it's plugged into.
