Heavyweight reading but sticky
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich Bought for girlfriend who says that it can be heavy going. The story line refers off to appendices that gives info of different 'Family Houses'. This causes a lot of page flipping which can be interruptive to the flow of the story. However, she appears to be traversing the first book with tenacity - which is a good indicator of it's 'stickyness' :-)
She's obviously developing a position on the different characters which is indicative of a good writing style.
Not sure how this compares with the Film Series of the same name as neither of us have watched any of them. However she is obviously becoming iimmersed in the characterisations and plots which can only mean the first book is good.
Time will tell if she continues with the other 6.
