decent printer, Cheap to run. My third purchase of this type.

no need for cartridges, ink is liquid and cheap. As always from HP a decent quality printer at a decent price.

Vintage DEC Digital PDP 11/05 computer without power supply

11/05 lives again

What a phenominal bit of history. I was lucky enough to have a "spare" tail-end for an 11/05. Putting this piece of kit along with the 240v PSU gave me a working 11/05. It adds to my collection of 3s, 20, 34s, 80s,90s and wee vanen. I worked on 11/05s in about 1972/3 and I can still remember the bootstrap sequences entered on the hand-switches to get a paper-tape boot running! It is amazing what comes back from the depth of a memory. Anyway nice kit, clean and tidy and well packaged for delivery.
