Great rack
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a full-featured rack for a great price. It's made of mostly steel - so it's a bit heavier than comparably-featured big name racks - but the price is much lighter. Bike cradles are secure and accommodate both narrow and wider formed top tubes. Tilt down feature is simple and functional. Cable lock is sufficient for peace of mind when leaving bikes un-attended for errands, but I wouldn't consider it a theft-proof option. If you buy, I recommend replacing the phillips head screw in the locking post with a tamper-proof type security screw. Also, distance between arms is just under 14" so not all size/types of bikes will fit directly.

Tech foam beats hard caps anyday
So these tech foam pads actually work - they are pliable and gel-like to the touch, but when you hit them hard they do firm up and take on the characteristic of a hard cap. This is my experience from "test hits" against hard objects - haven't actually fallen with them - yet - but I am confident they will perform as designed. The mesh fabric on the inside does breath a little, but they can still be a little hot to wear - bug it's a balance between comfort or protection with any pads. My only gripe is the company's sizing chart. I am 5'11", 185 lbs. and the measuring chart had me at xsmall to small! Your supposed to measure 2cm above your elbow - whatever - it was either misleading or wrong, so I ordered up a size to Medium. Well, although I can use the Mediums I would have an easier time getting them on if they were larges. I proved this by ordering the same style in the knee pads in large and they fit just right without having to work too hard to get them up. I guess I have narrow joint circumferences with larger muscle bellies - like many fit people do - so my recommendation is to order what your usual clothing size is.

Basically, inside just a rubber sleeve - no texture, ribs, dots, ridges or anything remotely stimulating.
