Works with voice units

If you have the wireless voice units this is the only hardwired unit that works with your wireless units. The only problem is this one has no voice announcement or room identifier when triggered. So if you are used to hearing "evacuate bedroom 1!", all you will hear from this one (and all of the other voice units) is "Evacuate". If you only have one hardwired unit that is fine because you know when you don't here a location in the announcement it is the room this unit is in. But if you have two of these hardwired units you will not know which room it came from as all of the other units are screaming at the same time. You have to go look at the flashing LED to determine which hardwired unit triggered. I don't know why they don't make a voice hardwired unit, but I suspect it has to do with limited room in the hardwired unit. Otherwise it is a great unit.

Get these!

I use a cheap Dollar Store triangular plastic mechanical pencils for carpentry, these clips can be made to fit those pencils firmly. The lever on the clips is great because I often wear T-shirts and the pockets give and make it hard to clip pens, etc. Not a problem with the lever on these clips, squeeze it to insert the pencil in my pocket, release and it clamps tight and stays in the pocket on those deep bend overs, and when you want the pencil out, squeeze the lever and it completely releases. Just what I wanted. Well made.

Tough

This is the toughest no tear apart belt sandpaper I've ever had. Note: it is just under 3" wide.
