My 2007 Mercedes ML-350 would not start. No dash lights. No ignition no starter. Key would not turn. Key guy came. My key was bad too. There is no steering lock on a 2007 ML350. The immobilizer is inside this EIS ( electronic Ignition Switch). Key guy was able to get and save info from old EIS and then clone a new key. Fixed! To remove the ignition switch come in through the radio area. Buy the $10 special tool to unscrew the chrome ring nut that holds the EIS into the dash. $100 -best price
